It was SOOOOOOOOO good to see Court today! Just as I got there Dr. Rosenblatt had walked in. Mom had been there all day and Step-Brother Brandon was visiting. Dr. Rosenblatt came into Court’s room and asked her to lift her arms, then lift her legs and she was all over it. Strongest I’ve seen her this entire time. Dr. Rosenblatt said she looks really good and that he’s going to start weaning her off the vent! Her pressure level has dropped to 16, and yesterday it was at 18 which is good. She had a TON of pee from her catheter, so we know her kidneys are working much better. Whoo hoooooo! The most I saw her complain about while I was there, was that her bottom and skin itches really bad and that her IV in her hand hurt a little, other than that no complaints. That’s the Courty we know!
Mom had been reading her some of the blog today and she said that Courtney was really responding and smiling to what she was reading. After I was there for a bit, we decided to read her some more and it was the first time I’ve really seen her 
smile so big and bright. She was LOVIN the comments and sometimes she would open her eyes a little wider than usual. At one point I started to cry and tear up while reading some of the post I had done for her and then I said out-loud “Keep it together Meg” and she smiled at me. She made my day! Finally I could see some really good progress. Oh you don’t know how happy I am to post this for all of you, ALL of you who have been praying for Court, and keeping all of us in your thoughts. This is amazing! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!

There once was a girl named Court
whose been stuck in bed all day.

Although there’s a lot to say.
The girl has a will of steel,
